Otaku ni Yasashii Gal wa Inai!? (オタクに優しいギャルはいない!?), also known as Gals Can’t Be Kind to Otaku!?, is an anime series based on the manga of the same name written by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Sakana Uozumi. The story follows Seo Takuya, a closeted otaku who finds his life turned upside down when he discovers that the popular, fashion-forward Ijichi Amane is actually a massive fan of the same niche hobby as him.
